1. Do you have a plan or project in mind for your time at the residency?
Iowa is a timely answer to my prayer for a quiet. It’s a salvation from my busy schedules that make sitting to write, with my attention rapt, seems like unaffordable luxury. You see, I finished the first draft of a novel about five years ago, and then suddenly I became too busy to return to it.
